Official party meetings on the second Tuesday in the County Commission room on the 2nd floor of the county courthouse. 5:30pm.

Did you know? Lewis County was formed in 1843 carved out of the surrounding 5 counties - Perry, Hickman, Lawrence, Maury, and Wayne. We have 282 square miles and the following state parks

• Devil's Backbone State Natural Area

• Dry Branch State Natural Area

• Hick Hill Wildlife Management Area

• Langford Branch State Natural Area

• Laurel Hill Wildlife Management Area

 

Did you know? Lewis County is divided into 9 districts for county commissioners. We are looking for dynamic democrats in each district to run for county commission in 2026  and volunteers for the 2024 campaign season.
