People voted in the August primary for Jody Barrett (R) who called for 'election integrity' on the trail to be our district 69 representative, receiving only 39.7% of the R votes between the 4 primary candidates!
That is around 5% percent of the population of our district who have decided for us who gets on the ballot to receive the automatic votes of the majority in our district because of party lines not because of what's best for our district and state.

We must exercise our RIGHT to VOTE!
Tennessee was the last state needed to ratify the constitution for the 18th amendment granting women the right to vote. Yet, today our state - the Volunteer State - is the last or in the lowest rank of voter turnout. Let's shake things up this year and get out our vote. Great candidates for Governor and our Federal districts. Vote Blue up and down the ballot!
